Imtech’s size means the volume of its purchases is considerable. Consequently Imtech follows an active procurement policy with the goal to reach cost reduction through clustering volume, supplier reduction and standardization in the procurement process.  Furthermore the procurement policy addresses sustainability and innovation through intensive co-operation with suppliers and sub-contractors and increased added value. Imtech has an international procurement program, focused of both basic (core) products and additional products offering a good performance and attractive discounts.

In it’s procurement policy, Imtech makes use of high-tech information technology and telecommunications to improve the procurement process and process standardization. Imtech makes us of the international procurement program PICS (Procurement Information and Communication System). With PICS the failure costs are reduced strongly and best practices are shared internally.
