About Imtech HSE
Imtech needs to maintain its good reputation regarding safety. The international Imtech companies are known for being safe companies with low accident figures. We consult others actively about safe, healthy and environmentally-aware working methods and our customers appreciate this. Such a reputation can only be established if the core concepts Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) are understood and applied internationally and from top to bottom throughout the organisation.
And we're working hard on this. An international structure has been designed recently with one person responsible for HSE policy development in each country. The international HSE council develops policy together. The person responsible locally then implements the HSE policy, after adapting the policy to the laws and regulations of their country. In order to lower accident figures still further, we are devoting at lot of attention to training and educating our employees. We have well-implemented management information systems and everybody works hard on the job to achieve good HSE performance.
All these activities have resulted in management, project leaders and employees being convinced of the importance of working in an HSE-responsible way. Imtech employees take seriously their responsibility for a safe, healthy and environmentally-aware way of working. Not just for themselves and their colleagues, but also for our customers' employees and those of companies brought in by us. Imtech employees understand that it is necessary to cooperate pro-actively and enthusiastically to improve HSE performance. This is in their interests and in the interests of Imtech, the customer and a sustainable society in general.
However, we continue to strive for further improvements to our safety performance. To give safe thinking and working the highest priority, an international HSE campaign was started recently. This safety campaign again promotes the HSE principles. Background information about the campaign and the international HSE policy on which it is based can be found on this website. Practical information is also given about such things as the HSE principles, the HSE policy group and personal protective equipment. It also contains international blogs with examples of best practice to help you work well and in an environmentally safe and healthy way.
We wish you a safe and healthy workplace.
