Communications
Imtech is an international company and should therefore have an international HSE policy. That is why the Board of Directors has decided recently to establish an international structure with one person responsible for HSE policy development per country. The international HSE Council is responsible for the development of the HSE policy. The locally responsible persons implement the HSE policy in their own country and are responsible for research for individual companies and customers. The International HSE Council gives direction and also organises international HSE campaigns and actions.
The following three items are HSE policy group priorities:
- Ensure that accident figures per country are comparable, with the goal of reducing these
- Introduce an HSE standard per country, for example ISO or OHSAS
- Communicate our policy well, for example via the international HSE campaign
The HSE Council comprises:
Imtech Health & Safety Centre
The Imtech Health & Safety Centre is a professional HSE service centre that offers health, safety and environmental services to all Imtech divisions and Imtech companies. A wide range of Health and Safety services are being offered: from absence management and health management to policy and advice about safety and the working environment. The services are in accordance with legislation, satisfy all specific market demands and are also based on the professional statutes of the various professional groups represented within Imtech & Safety Centre. As a result, Imtech & Safety Centre forms the gateway to safe, healthy and environmentally-aware working with Imtech.
