Training & Coaching
Education about HSE is an important tool to manage risks in the workplace. HSE Training and coaching has the highest priority within Imtech. Since legislation and regulations differ per country, training and coaching is organised per country. Usually managers take the initiative for training, but employees themselves can also indicate if they would like additional training.
Behaviour
Operational management ensures that employees work in an HSE compatible way. Imtech managers create good conditions and motivate employees. We take this very seriously. Imtech aims for 'zero target': zero accidents. As incidents can often be traced to 'operating unsafely' or an 'unsafe situation' we pay a lot of attention to behaviour regarding taking risks. Employees are expected to know the HSE principles and to be informed about international and national HSE policy. Imtech employees think about risks in the workplace and how these can be removed.
Sanction policy
Of course we adhere to legislation, standards and procedures, but Imtech goes further. We make agreements in advance with stakeholders; the employees, customers and the partners with whom we cooperate. In this way we can call each other to account for HSE performance and maintain good relationships. We take responsibility and speak out when the required HSE provisions are missing. We correct dangerous behaviour and report dangerous situations. We bring these forward in meetings with the customer and partner companies.
