Safety: from English to Chinese

Recently Imtech launched an international HSE campaign. With this campaign for Health Safety & Environment, we’ll be drawing the attention of all our staff once again to our eight HSE principles by means of large posters and handouts. They will be in ‘all the languages of the world’: from English to Chinese. Every two months a new poster will be issued. All 600 Imtech offices at more than 2,000 project locations – all over the world – will be taking part. The campaign will be supported by an international website.

Shared responsibility
When it comes to safety, Imtech has a reputation to uphold. International Imtech companies are known for their safety and low accident figures. Because improving our safety performance even more has high priority, we recently set up an international structure with country representatives for HSE policy development. The international HSE policy group is developing the policy. Local representatives then implement HSE policy, adapted to suit the prevailing laws and regulations in each country, in their own countries.

HSE website
We have set up an HSE website to support the international HSE campaign. It has background information about the campaign and underlying international HSE policy and blogs. There is also practical information about HSE principles, the HSE policy group, HSE contact persons and personal protection equipment, among other things.
