Water treatment contract goes to Imtech Galliford jv

A joint venture between Imtech and Galliford Try, a UK construction group, has been awarded a contract worth of 36 million GBP from Anglian Water. Anglian Water is geographically the largest water and wastewater company in England and Wales. Under the contract Imtech and Galliford Try will construct a new water treatment works in Lincolnshire.

Situated on a greenfield site near Newton-on-Trent in Lincolnshire, the new works will use an innovative combination of processes that will enable water from the River Trent to be treated at a downstream location for the first time.
