Lotusphere Comes to You on 14th March 2012 in Linz: IT trends for tomorrow's business

Using the motto “Business. Made Social”, IBM presented the latest internationally significant trends in social business and network cooperation in Florida. Imtech ICT Austria brought the most exciting Lotusphere highlights to Linz: in the inspiring ambience of the Ars Electronica Center, presentations showed how local companies can optimise collaboration and successfully implement the shift towards social business.
International experts for Social Business and Collaboration

Christian Offner, Manager of the Software Solution Unit at Imtech ICT Austria and responsible for the event, explains: “Our key note speakers attended all main sessions in Florida. At our event in Linz, we then introduced the most significant novelties for companies in Austria. Participants learned in a single day how they can communicate more effectively – within their company and with their customers – by using the right tools and mobile devices.”

For the event, Imtech ICT Austria succeeded in bringing two international IBM specialists to Linz: Jon Mell, European Social Software Sales Leader, gave an inspiring keynote speech. Collaboration guru Thomas A. Bryner shared a number of interesting insights to the topic Connect & Communicate. He is a member of IBM’s worldwide collaboration Tiger Team and predominantly focuses on sustainable collaboration strategies and social media.
